This weekend I’ll be running a story hack at OVC. The session is called Designing Storyworlds. The goal is to continue experimenting with hacking as a development process for storytelling. It is never too early to engage in creative brainstorming around technology when designing storyworlds. When we’re prepping a project at the WorkBook Project we always look to engage a creative technologist. As immersive storytelling continues to grow so will the roles needed to effectively design, produce, and sustain it.
Open video is about building a future in which everyone is empowered to make and share video. It’s about making web video something more than “internet TV.” It’s about connecting video to the rest of the technologies that make up the open web, and empowering a more participatory culture. And the Open Video Conference is about helping this vision become a reality.
